I have read this book at the start of the year but I don't know why I didn't continue this trilogy (even I like it and already read Kim's and Silver's books).

After GOR release, I wanted to read this again and continue the AidenElsa's trilogy. I gave this story 5 stars and I'll still give it 5 stars. I fell in love with them. Their chemistry is gold. I LOVE AIDEN KING SO MUCH. I NEED HIM, bye.

THE END OF THIS BOOK, I-. I'LL START THE SECOND BOOK ASAP. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED.

4,5 ; je m’en doutais mais j’ai trooooop aimé jsp si j’enchaîne directos ou pas. ma tête me dis que oui mais mon coeur me dis : RUSSIAN MAFIA

Zvrhly král je příběh z prostředí zbohatlíků, prestižní školy a plný šikany.
Nepřišlo mi to úplně uvěřitelné.

Audiobook - Hoopla

The writing is terrible :( The grammar, sentence structure, awkward use of TENSES? I understand there was a disclaimer in the beginning stating that the language used is British English - but I grew up in Britain and even I could tell how awkward some of the sentences and conversations sound. Like, I don't think people really talk like that. The descriptions and use of similes and metaphors was also kinda weird and sometimes jarring. The standard of writing reminds me of a rushed middle school composition during an English Language exam. I had to take breaks because I couldn't even tolerate the writing.

What irked me the most was the way most of the characters kind of talked the same way, as if they're the same person with the same personality, intonation and speech pattern. I COULD NOT EVEN, GUYS!

But I liked Elsa Quinn so she kept me going - she's the reason this is a 2 Star instead of ONE because dear God I wanted to give this a one because of the language, writing and characters who I could not connect with AT ALL. I really wanted to DNF but I'm too curious a person to quit, when I'm already invested in one of the characters.

no way it ended like that ????

I was so surprised by this!

I really disliked it at first, mostly due to the fact the author made a disclaimer at the start saying she was writing in British English since it's set in England, then proceeded to write in lots of Americanisms and the British phrases she attempted were often wrong or used incorrectly. This was really jarring and ruined the story for me.

However, as I progressed with the story I became less bothered by the writing mistakes as I fell under Aidan's spell. He got me and I was hooked!

The more I read, the more I enjoyed it. I'm so glad I stayed until the end (I seriously contemplated DNFing this book 15 pages in). The ending was amazing!

While this still needs a really good proof read by someone who lives in England, and a final edit, I'm glad I read it. If it wasn't for the writing issues it would be five stars because the romance and tension were amazing.

I absolutely love this author her writing is perfect and I don’t care how alike all her books are plot wise I adore each and every one 10/10 for all of her books
