This is the second book in this duology/series and it was everything we needed and more in the conclusion of Johnny and Shannon's story. Again, it is a fairly long book, but it definitely kept my interest! It had a couple of slower parts, but I feel like they only added to the anticipation of what was to come. Just like book 1, this book elicited a pretty heavy emotional response which kept me engaged for the entirety of the novel. One scene in particular had my anxiety so ramped I couldn't read fast enough. I experienced every emotion reading this book! I did tear up again during this read, which is highly unusual for me. Johnny and Shannon remain one of my new favorite book couples. I thought what these two went through in the first book was rough, but the second book...again no words! My stance remains...they are simply everything. I can't wait to read the remaining novels in the series.
***Please note there is mature content and triggers in this book, and overall this is a pretty emotionally heavy book.

Shannon and Johnny have to be one of my favorite book couples and this book was the perfect ending (for now 🤞🏾) to their story.
The only thing I would say is I felt the book was just too long. At times it seemed to be really slow with not much h ppening. I think the storyline could've been covered in only 2/3 of the book.

I enjoyed the ending and felt it was somewhat foreshadowed. The plot twist was enjoyable and I felt the emotional aspect was well delivered.
The ending was a nice close off to the story but was somewhat anticlimactic.

I‘ve been dreading writing this review for about two weeks now, cause I just don‘t know how to put my feelings and love for this series into words and because I know that this review isn‘t going to show what a special place the entire series has in my heart.
I went into the book completely blindly. I randomly got it at the bookstore because I loved the cover and I‘ve heard amazing things about the series. Little did I know that it was going to break my heart.
I finished Binding 13 in under 24 hours. A 800 pages long book. I just couldn‘t stop reading. I‘ve never loved book characters more than these. Every single character was so perfect in their own way.
The 800 pages of the book were the perfect length (even though before starting this series I was wondering how a romance book could have so many pages) and the story didn‘t feel rushed at all. I loved that the dialogues were so long because that made the entire book so real and raw.
I wasn‘t prepared for the emotional impact that series was going to have on me! Please, please, please check the TWs!!! I didn‘t and luckily I don‘t really have triggers but I still cried so much for the characters, their trauma and everything they went through.
Also I‘ve never met a book boyfriend more perfect than Johnny. His love for Shannon and his patience with her 🥹 Their love was so pure 🫶🏻
After the worst cliffhanger I had to wait 3 days for Keeping 13 to be delivered. It was the worst. But Keeping 13 was just the perfect conclusion for Johnny‘s and Shannon‘s story. I loved how both characters developed so much and how Shannon thrived 🥹
I don‘t want to say too much because in my opinion it‘s always best to go into books blindly but I can only recommend this series.
Not only was it heartbreaking but there were so many funny and cute moments, too!!
Definitely one of my favorite books EVER
