Very poorly written. There were some good ideas but felt very rough draft coded. The author should have stuck with only one of the characters having trauma and if you’re here for spice this book is not it barely any and it’s written badly.

I was entertained, but not wowed by Twisted Love. I can certainly see the draw, but found most of it to be somewhat cliche and predictable.

Also, I listened to the audiobook and didn't love the female narrator. She spoke in whispers which I found to be a bit annoying.

This book is the worst of the twisted series. The circumstances are unrealistic in a why that takes you out of the reading flow instead of sucking you in.

Alex is so toxic and not in an attractive way. I thought there would be a redemption arc for him, but nope! He has absolutely NO character development the entire book!

His actions come off borderline misogynistic. For example:

he stopped the ADULT femc from helping her male friend do a photography shoot of her in lingerie. He made him delete all the photos, threatened him, and I think even broke part of his camera. This happened well before they were dating.

 

He also is pretty stalkery towards the end (spoilers for the end of the book):

Femc leaves the country for a fresh start after they break up. He spends a year finding out where she is living and shows up at her house uninvited and demanding to date her again.

I enjoyed this book but it felt like parts were missing, the MMC and the FMC’s relationship seemed rushed and like it lacked emotional depth. There just seemed to be a lot happening without giving the reader time to process anything.
