It’s very cute, and my kiddo loves it. I think the book ending with BF not wearing the ram’s hat was a lost opportunity. Also, his relationship to the crow seems inconsistent (are they meeting for the first time, or indeed catching up?)
I know I am being picky but trying to force the rhymes and the journey we took to get to self-acceptance just didn't work for me.
There is a lot of rhyming and there are repeated sections to help children learn phonetic awareness. It has cute illustrations to help move the story along and would be good for a read aloud to preschoolers. it is a story about emotions and how being kind back to make friends.
