The illustrations were really good, the story was interesting, and the Joker took the whole thing pretty far, but at the end of the comic I wasn't blown away by it in the way that all of the reviews had said "I should be." Maybe I just don't get Batman comics, I don't know, but at the end of this I wasn't entirely amazed by The Killing Joke.
Batman cannot exist without the Joker, and Joker cannot exist with out batman..a real paradox this book presents
I didn't experience the original, and I already knew the story beats (thanks to the internet). However, that didn't make it any less impactful or tense as a new reader for this new edition. The coloring is gorgeous and fits the tone perfectly. The final scene with Batman and the Joker is nothing like I imagined it would be, but it's haunting and weird and exactly the right note to end such a brutal story on.
This was a good graphic novel.
This is about the Joker and a possible origin story. It is about also Joker and why he shot Barbara Gorden and how batman goes after him to get her father back.
It was a great story even though I'm not one to like Joker it was very good. It was a good story and I liked learning how Joker got to the point of being a criminal. It was interesting and the characters were great.
The story was great and art was great.
The overall story was great.

Such a brilliant Graphic Novel, I absolutely love the gorgeous art and the simple yet greatly effective story. Would highly recommend to any Batman and/or Joker fan. Alan Moore and Brian Bollard once again deliver chef’s kiss content.
This rating is more a reflection of personal enjoyment (in comparison to my reaction to other non-fiction books I adore) rather than the quality of Alan Moore’s work!
