Disclosure: I won a copy of this book in a giveaway and here is an honest review.

I really enjoyed reading Blood for Blood and felt Ms. Selman provided a believable character in Ziba. The book was a fast-paced read for me, which is always a good thing; however, there were two things that didn't work for me: the insider terms used by many of the characters, which sometimes caused me to pause while I mulled it over and the occasional switches from present to past tense.

Overall, I do recommend reading it especially if you like a murder mystery with a twist.

Meh. Very predictable and obvious plot twists. The author's sense of time and the protagonist's back story are muddled and inconsistent. It was a tedious read that you should skip.

Really enjoyed this book by a new author for me. The main female protagonist has lots of ‘spunk’ and she is very likeable. I look forward to more by this author.

Before I was even halfway through the book I’d already figured out who the London Lacerator was and their connection to the woman on the train. Which made the rest of the book kind of boring for me. I didn’t expect to figure it out so soon

This was a kindle freebie, and I was pleasantly surprised how easy reading this was. I need to get up and start my day but I was so close to finishing, I couldn't help myself.

This is not my usual genre, but I enjoyed the way the story was woven together from the Ziba’s perspective and Raguel’s. It was refreshing to have a strong, intelligent female lead who was also real and relatable.
