This book made my heart swell. Some minor things annoyed me, I couldn’t picture Olives face and still had no clue what she looked like until
the steamy scene in which I hated how often her skinniness was brought up? And while I loved the ace/demi rep, why did Olive have to explain it by saying her “brain is broken” to be that way. Disappointing. Finally, I wish there was more to the revelations after they got together. I wanted to hear Adam talk about what he overhears Olive say about how she was falling for him and I wanted a more in-depth conversation of how Olive used their first meeting to get her through to their relationship and when she realized it was Adam specifically.
But again, I still loved this

*audiobook* I loved this. It was super cute and kind of realistic, although based in a fake dating thing that didn't seem realistic (if that makes sense). I really enjoyed one line that was repeated twice in the book: "Carry yourself with the confidence of a mediocre white man." Women working in fields that are predominantly male can be difficult and this book, although a love story, tackled problems and real issues that happen in those fields. Definitely recommend it.

I loved this book. It’s definitely one of the best I’ve read this year.

Let’s start with the cover not a huge fan but really sums up their first kiss 😂 so it’s very Olive and Adam. Such a great book, I could not put it down, read the entire thing in a day and a half. So cute but also tackled the issues women especially women in STEM face
I still can’t believe he who shall not be named Ughh Also can we talk about how hot Adam was in the restaurant scene. He really would’ve killed he who shall not be named if Olive hadn’t said something 😍
. I did love how science and their lab work are a part in the book because it’s such an important part in both characters lives. Olive really reminded me of my cousin who’s in her phd program and always at the lab 🧪. Adorable book just a heads up if you need lots of spice this book probably isn’t gonna work for you since it only have 1 spicy scene. But I thought it’s still definitely worth a read and worth the hype because the rest of it is iconic. Also just how hilarious this book is I was laughing my ass off most of the book 😂. Or the quotes one of my favs “carry yourself with the confidence of a mediocre white man”. Overall a great book would definitely reread. Now time to go find myself an Adam 😂

Wow! I loved the story, the characters and the writing style so much. This was the nerdy romance I needed. Also, I could relate to Olive as my mother had died of pancreatic cancer, too. I definitely can see why some people might find the story problematic, but for me it was perfect, worth the hype and I would have loved 200 pages more!
