Queer and theatre nerd themed?! And the production at the center of this book is Les Miserables- the musical that got me into musicals. This book came up as a recommendation on Hoopla for me since I listened to two other of the author’s books this year: Music From Another World and Pulp, both of which are historical fiction and also fantastic. This author has really gotten me into more romance focused books, because I used to stray away from ones where that was a main theme. Such a cute, fun book!

This brought me back to high school. I kept thinking “it’s not FAIR to put that all on her!” Very emotional. I rewatched Les Miserable multiple times while listening. It was fun to match the scenes with the book.
