I really enjoyed this one! It dragged on a bit in the middle, but it was fun to guess around the possible suspects, and at time I felt I was a few steps ahead. Still, the reveal at the end caught me by surprise! The author did a really good job, because as the reveal happened, I kept replaying all the small notes he had left that I did not pick up on. Well done!
I can't decide if the book was being fatphobic or not at times, but the bit about the Dave's mother being lost in the graveyard was heartbreaking! I also loved that they set up the mother in law with that older man.
This time there were a suitable amount of character-development for the three ladies, while also staying true to themselves, which I felt the last book lacked. But I missed Tamika! She was oddly distant this time.
