It could have been better. I loved Luke, but nothing had me hanging on the edge of my seat.

This book begins with Liv burying her husband and not knowing what she is going to do. Luke returns from her past to help and support her, but what are his real intentions? Can Liv move on with her life? Secrets come out that crush Liv, what will she choose to do? Can Liv and Luke find happiness together? I couldn’t put this book down!

Great book with all the feels. This was well written, and the characters seem to leap off the page. This book has love, lust, a baby, almost unrequited love, hate, suspicion, and realism. The uncertainty that Liv goes through of not knowing her next step is so true, I am sure millions of people have felt that way. Told in dual pov.

Liv and Luke's banter and ease around each other was perfect. I loved the way their relationship took form slowly over time. The love triangle was a bit much at times and I felt like Liv moved on from Adam a bit quick, but I loved to see how Luke treated her and her baby. I think he should've dealt with Trisha another way and it wasn't okay for her to be strung along, but I can't even begin to imagine the dilemma Luke was presented with. No sex scenes in this series, but you get so attached to the characters, I didn't mind one bit.

Liv is a great read. It's fast paced and the story is appealing.

After losing her husband Liv, finds out that she is pregnant. And her life changes. She doesn't have any family and her mother-in-law isn't very pleasant with her. Having no where to go, someone who hasn't been in her life comes back into it, Luke. Her and her husband best friend.

Luke has always loved Liv, even though she married his best friend. He went a way to college and wasn't really in their life much. But that all changes once he finds out that Liv is all alone and pregnant.

We watch these two become more than best friends and we watch as secrets are revealed. And we watch a love that was hidden bloom.

I would recommend this to any romance reader.

I liked this story- a quick read for sure! There were definitely some time skips and predictable points, but I enjoyed it overall.

I really enjoyed this book. It was sweet and simple. Nothing to crazy. There is one surprise to the story that you wouldn't see coming but, like I said, it was nothing crazy. Liv and Luke end up finding each other again after years of no contact. Luke was Liv's deceased husband's best friend throughout their childhood. He also became her best friend before he disappeared. He left because he was in love with Liv and didn't want to come between her and Adam (his best friend). Now circumstances have changed and whether Liv wants to admit it or not she needs Luke. If you enjoy books that are down to earth and sweet you will love this book. It didn't have the spice that I always enjoy, but sometimes reading something without that spice is nice too.

Sweet And Sensual

This book is about a gal finding her way back to a relationship with a super good friend who always had a thing for her, she of course was oblivious lol

This story was about healing also. Really powerful.

There was quite a lot of innuendo but no actual sexy times but it really just worked for this story.

This author is becoming a fast favorite!
