Werther ist ein super nerviger Charakter. Immer nur am nörgeln über "seine" Lotte. Musste mich durch dieses Buch für die Schule quälen.
It may be my cold, hardened 21st century heart but I did find Werther a bit -for lack of a better term- whiny.
That said, I found the language very beautiful and engaging to read. The dose of grisly reality that comes with a botched gunshot was an interesting touch too, it really drove home how pitiful Werther is :(
