Let's say. I enjoyed Patricia Briggs because I usually enjoy her writings. The rest were either boring or vulgar, anyway, those I've read.
I've got it PDF so I'll just chop off the first sory :D

I'm not rating the book as I picked this up for the Charlaine Harris short story, and I've read the Patricia Briggs and Jim Butcher short stories before as well. I have to say this might be one of my favorite Sookie short stories. The others are also great and worth taking a look at.

Unfortunately I have not enjoyed this book as much as I had hoped. Perhaps I had too high of expectations, or perhaps it is because I have not read short stories in so long. While I did enjoy the stories from my favorites, Charlaine Harris and Patricia Briggs, I did not find myself becoming fans of anyone new. Most of the stories from unfamiliar authors seemed to be snippets of their characters' lives and often I felt that I only understood half the story because I was not a regular fan. However, few of the stories sucked me in enough to look for additional work by the authors.

This book was ok. Not my favorite because I am not too into witches and vampires. My favorite story was Hecate's Golden Eye. It was very well written, and made me want to know more. Overall, the short stories were good.

This is an anthology by different authors. The Patricia Briggs story was the best. The Karen Chance one was pretty good but the real surprise was the Jenna Maclaine story. I like her writing and don't usually find a good read with a new author in a short story.

NOTE: THIS RATING IS ONLY FOR THE PATRICIA BRIGGS NOVELLA FOR NOW.

"Seeing Eye" by Patricia Briggs - 4 stars (read August 6, 2011)
This short novella goes with Briggs' "Alpha & Omega" series. It's about a blind witch, Moira, who helps a werewolf, Tom, save his human brother from a coven of witches.

This story was pretty cute. I'm not exactly sure how it fits in with the series yet since this is the first I've heard of Tom and Moira, but I'm assuming they play some role in the books. I wish that it could have been a little longer so that we could have seen a little bit of the romance between Moira and Tom. But, other than that, I enjoyed the short story.

Again with the anthologies. Loved the stories by the authors I already knew I liked. Couldn't get through the stories by the authors I already knew I didn't....
