I would agree with the reviews that this book did have a slow start but it was absolutely worth reading. I really liked how he saw Sid, who was granted immunity in Camino wins now working for the register.
The story about Lovely and Dark Isle was fascinating. Once Lovely was introduced, I wanted her to win the entire time. I liked the ending in that they won the Dark Isle case after digging up parts of old grave sites and how that Lovely dies and is buried on Dark Isle. I liked that the ending wasn't a completely happy end like most books are these days.
I also rather liked the sorcery aspect for this book as it was something that hasn't been seen in a John Grisham book in the past.
