As usual with John Grisham, the plot was promising, but the end of the book's squandered.
Too simplistic and naive: a judge's opinion quickly abbreviated, judicially nonsensical and absurd ; the good guys win while the bad guys' abandoning too easily...
That's too cheesy for me.

Whoopie was a terrible choice for narrator.

The story is by the numbers and had no surprises or anything interesting happen.

Not sure why this one is so hot at my library with 100’s waiting for it
