I don’t know why, but this book just didn’t grab me. I’d find my attention wandered listening to the audiobook, and I’d have to go back until I found something sounding familiar. I even tried going right back to the beginning 4 or 5 times. The story didn’t do much for me, I didn’t take to the narrator’s voices, and overall I was just grateful to finally finish. I received a free ARC copy of this via NetGalley and the publishers in return for an unbiased review.

The snowy atmosphere and isolated setting was really well done. I found the flashbacks to the brother uninteresting and distracting tho. The main story was quite interesting, however I always find myself questioning the feasibility of such events as was described at the end.
