I read Emily Wilson’s version for class and I honestly quite loved it.

Such a classic. One of the earliest epic works.

The Odyssey is filled with epic imagery, memorable characters and a lyrical style that has stood the test of time. While its ancient pacing and repetition can take some adjusting to, the beauty of the language and the depth of its themes make it a must read.

If the new movie doesn’t have all the men crying and kissing each other, I’m gonna be very disappointed. All these guys do is yap and cry and kiss. Oh and kill.
