I will gladly read anything Karin Slaughter writes. This wasn’t my favorite by her, but it was a solid slow-burn mystery. It takes a while for the pieces to come together, but when they do, it’s great. Cannot wait for the Netflix adaptation!!!

3.5⭐️ I am a HUGE Karin Slaughter fan, but this one was not my favorite. I figured out a large part of the story very early on, which NEVER happens to me in a Slaughter book. Also, the story was more of a slow-burn, and I struggled to stay invested in the "past" timeline. I will say, Pieces of Her is a lot less gruesome than her other books, so if you want something less violent and a tad more predictable, this is a good pick. Plus, a second book in the Andrea Oliver series is coming out this summer, which I’ll obviously read!

Good solid mystery with great character development. Will read more from this author

I have been utterly hooked on this book. From loudly explaining the plot to my boyfriend in the pub to reading it whilst waiting for my colleagues to finish a fun run. Utterly unputdownable.

This is my first Karin Slaughter book and although I guessed some of the plot relatively early on, the twists and crescendo had me gripped.

The resolution fell a bit flat for me but overall I thoroughly enjoyed it.
