it was graphically violent, sometimes it felt for shock value. The main character Andy seemed pretty naive for her to be in her 30s. It’s an interesting concept and storyline, but I wish Andy had a bit more depth.
4.5 my word the author is so good at writing action, the audiobook narrator was so good at voicing the people it was so so good.

I accidentally read Girl, Forgotten, this book's sequel, before reading this one. I wanted the back story for Andrea this book provides, so I went ahead and read it. Despite already knowing the ending, it is still a thrilling read with lots of twists and turns.
The story bounces between two timelines while Andrea unravels secrets of her mother's past. Though the book gets a little long at times, it is still an entertaining read, and I was eager to find out how things all work out.
