I don't think this book stands alone well. Not knowing the context of the fuller story would likely leave most readers a little lost. The art style is beautiful and the use of color is poignant, but it's unclear why this segment alone was vizualized as such.

The graphic novel gave new depth to the grandeur of Claudia's character, trapped in a small and young body. Witter's visual interpretation of Claudia's experience made me fall even more in love with Louis. Who knew such a thing was possible.

I absolutely adored the artwork. I wish I had re-read Interview first because I was fuzzy on some of the details. It's been a long time!

It's must faster than the original story. It's also a graphic novel.

I never really liked the character of Claudia. I always felt she was bratty but that's just my opinion. I do love The Vampire Chronicles and I felt this was a great summary of Claudia's time as a vampire. The illustrations were wonderful and I loved it all.
