A good summer listen, as Elin Hildebrand has become for me. Not my favorite of hers, but entertaining enough
Just what I needed, a good beach read. This was a good book with 2 islands, interesting characters and enough in-love out-of-love goings ons.
I do enjoy Elin Hildebrand’s books.

I really liked this book. I prefer Hilderbrand's books that focus less on romance and more on relationships between families/friends. The relationships between the women in the family and the women and girls on the periphery were well-explored. I didn't love the reason for the parents' divorce, but it was how the story was structured and the reason for the way all the relationships were the way they were at the start and why they all came together in the first place afterward.
Each character has her own path to find, and they navigate their difficulties with angst, humor, self-righteousness, and eventually, maturity and openness. Watching them all come into their own, especially Ainsley, was gratifying. Would've liked more of Eleanor. She was a very minor character, but she could've provided a ton of comic relief.

another great book. this is definitely the parent trap with less deception and more eye opening revelations. if I had to pick a twin it would be Harper. and the epilogue was so cute, I would have never thought to write it that way.
