I wasn’t sure whether to give this book 3 stars or 4. I’m having a hard time giving it 4 but think it should be more than 3. I guess a 3.5 is perfect.
I found it slow to catch my interest. I almost put it down but then it started to get better and I wanted to know what more of what was happening. There times that I really enjoyed it and didn’t want to put it down and also times that seemed a little silly and I was somewhat disappointed in it. I also felt the ending needed a little more.
I wouldn’t not recommend reading it but it definitely wouldn’t be my first choice to recommend.

Liked the story and the setting. Would maybe like to visit Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket one day. Didn't like the way the story ended- wanted to know more about where Harper, Tabitha, and Ainsley's lives went from there. Lots of unanswered questions. What happened to the shop? Did Ainsley get back together with Teddy? Did she and Candace renew their friendship? Did Tabitha and Franklin move in together?

I really struggle to form a connection with any of Elin Hildenbrand’s characters or their relationships with other people. I think I am done reading her books for the foreseeable future unfortunately. Nothing has really kept my attention since The 5 Star Weekend.
