Overall, I enjoyed this book. It was lighthearted and fun, and the spice was 🔥🔥🔥🔥. But I felt like it was a bit surface level, and I never got to truly know the characters in the same way I have in some other romance novels. I also didn't feel quite the same level of swooning for Luke and Emmy as I would've hoped.

Fun, quick read even if it’s a bit shallow. Nothing super amazing but I’ll definitely finish the rest of the series! You can tell how much the author’s writing has improved between this and Soul Searching.
