3.75🌟 i liked this but it didn't live up to expectations for me... the love triangle annoyed me & i feel like callum had a mini personality transplant. really liked the twists at the end though i think it's set up for a good finale

“‘Darling, I will always find you.’”

I AM UNWELL. AHHHH. This book was SO FREAKING GOOD. I have no clue how I’m supposed to just start another book after this one. 

Aurora truly shines and starts to come into herself in this book. Her personal growth and internal battle are powerful to witness and I can’t wait to see her fully bloom in the third book. The author caused me some serious emotional damage; I cried so much, really feeling each punch to my soul. Every character has so much nuance behind their actions, particularly one conniving alpha. Each twisted secret that is revealed had me gasping and on the edge of my seat. 

The Prince of Night picks up where The Wolf King left off, with Aurora, Callum, and Blake at Blake’s home. Aurora and Blake are now tied together after he saved her life by tying their life forces together. Aurora faces threats at all sides: Blake and his schemes, James and Callum’s fight for the throne, the new lord of the Borderlands, wolves who blame her for their lost loved ones, and even herself. Plagued by strange dreams of prisons, Aurora struggles to accept her inner wolf and unravel the many layers of mystery that her life seems to have become. She has difficult choices to make and fears to confront if she wishes to make it out alive and as her own woman.
