You just have to love Blake. He is the tough, romantic guy we all want. The second book in the series was great! A lot of planning and action. Some plot reveals that were surprising! I love Aurora, Callum, and Blake. The other characters are great too! The plot continues right where the first one ended and ends with a cliffhanger for book three. I loved it and can’t wait for the next one!

This book had me wanting to keep reading! It got a little slow for a bit, but the last 100 pages were very fast and action packed. The audio was also fantastic- you get voices for Callum and Blake. This was book had more political wars among the wolves and figuring out Aurora’s bond with Blake. Aurora is starting to find her own voice and deciding what she wants. I did not like Callum as much in this one. He was as a little too protective. Personally, I’m team Blake. I like his calmness on the outside knowing there are calculated steps happening inside that brain. I like the addition of Phillip (and even James) at the end. I didn’t want to put this down because I kept wanting the truth to come out and wondered how/when it would happen. Is this predicable, yes, but it’s still enjoyable enough I would reread so 5 stars for me. I can’t wait to see how it all plays out in the next book.

The main character is pretty tedious to follow. She’s dull, predictable, and always confused. She’s in a constant state of needing to be rescued. Multiple characters call her spoiled and entitled, which sparks her anger, but I feel the same way. She seems like an unpleasant person who is always roping others into solving her problems, and looks away when a character tries to empower her to overcome her obstacles.
The story did keep me reading, and there were entertaining parts. So that’s something. I’m not sure if there’s really enough here to have me pick up the next book, though.

It's like Twilight and I'm all the way team Blake! He referred to himself as Daddy, said "Get your hands off my mate", and called her a good girl - what else can ask for in a perfect book boyfriend. I loved this book so much and I don't know how I'm going to make it till the next book comes out...
