Fascinating…insightful but also best to take all things with a grain of salt. The fascination with the monarchy both within itself and from the outside is a very interesting subject and I appreciate the look inside however factual it may or may not be. You can feel a change in the last quarter of the book where details grow fuzzier and less fleshed out. He doesn’t have perspective on this all quite yet I think

Overall, it was cool to hear about things that I had heard in the news from a different perspective. My main issue is that Harry often came across a a little holier-than-thou. I feel this book would have been more effective if he had allowed his flaws to linger rather than tying up every flaw as if he has learned and fully changed from it. That said, I still did enjoy this book.

Possibly knew too much- I'm about 2 years late to reading this, but the last chapter or two had me in tears for personal reasons and, in a way (a year younger than Harry) Queen Elizabeth II was like the world's Granny, so it was emotional for that reason too.
I wasn't surprised when he left, and this book (while obviously heavily biased) didn't persuade me in any way, but it gave an incredibly vulnerable perspective to his struggles from the day he lost his mother. I genuinely hope he and his family have every freedom that he (and his brother) were robbed of....they didn't ask to be born into the fishbowl
