Maturity is being able to say a foundational classic simply isn’t your favorite to read. And that’s ok. And doesn’t make it not a solid classic. Sorry Jekyll

it was fine i did think it would be longer and. well. more interesting

This was ok but not my favourite classic. I feel like I wanted to see more hints of what Hyde got up to in the earlier section but it was short and easy and an interesting take on the two sided coin of a person’s character, the balance between the good and the bad parts, so I would still recommend. I actually preferred the short story called The Bottle Imp which was added as an extra at the end of the edition I had in comparison but I think that may be because I gravitate more to elements of otherworldliness.
