If this wasn't a book club pick, I wouldn't have finished. As it was, I skimmed the last half cause it was due at the library. It was tense, and had me turning pages. The author knows how to write an anxious 20 year old. But all the leaping to conclusions and running around and cliff ahngers left me ultimately unsatisfied and the deep dive into the philosophy of HQ had me bored.

This had everything you want in a mystery, but something about Mia rubbed me the wrong way. And it was sad. Sad on so many different levels. It had my emotions bouncing all over the place.
