Loved this read. So interesting and thought out. I am so sad that Rachel will no longer be in the series. I loved her character. She was the comic relief for this book whenever it was needed. I thought the part where Emma and Galen go to prom is sweet. Especially when Galen talks about Rachel killing them in their sleep. I wonder how the series will manage without Rachel. Can't wait to find out what happens next. I love the characters and the story. Overall, an amazing read.

At times I kinda wanted to rip my hair out or bang my head against a wall, but over all it wasn't a bad book and a good ending to a trilogy
So this was so cute and had a looot of drama!! Like really, a lot. I loved learning more about the Syrena world and its politics, I loved knowing more about Grom and Nalia, the friendship between Emma and Rayna and how both Emma and Galen have grown up so much from the first book. They seem a bit more mature and think better before acting.

Lumayaan suka sama yang buku kedua. Karakter karakternya makin banyak dan berkembang. Tapi saya tetep suka sama Galen :D
Cinco años después de haber leído Of Poseidon continué esta trilogía, y por fin, por fin me di cuenta exactamente por qué no me había terminado de gustar el primero (y este tampoco).
El problema es la falta de creatividad de la autora. Porque los syrena hablan mucho acerca de como son superiores a los humanos y sin embargo... son exactamente iguales. Tienen una monarquía que funciona más o menos como funcionan las monarquías humanas (y europeas, más específicamente). Las alianzas son como las humanas. Las familias son como las humanas. Todo es muy... humano. Es totalmente fácil olvidarse que son sirenas. Hubo una parte en la que leí varios capítulos hasta que caí en la cuenta que transcurrían bajo el agua. Porque casi no hay descripciones, y porque la manera en la que estos personajes que se supone son criaturas mitológicas hablan y se comportan son tan humanas que me olvidé que tenían colas y vivían en un reino subactuatico.
Y tampoco me convenció el villano, más que nada porque no ningún motivo por el cuál su villanización este justificada. Sí, conspira contra la banda de nuestros protagonistas, y eso sin duda lo hace un antagonista, pero ¿por qué es malo? Dan a entender que tiene un plan super secreto que será revelado en la siguiente entrega, pero hubiera sido mejor que lo explicaran acá nomas y terminábamos con esto de una. Lástima.
Y la manera en qué tratan de justificar que haya una parte de las syrena que se hartó de la realeza y los quieran sacar... ¿de verdad pretenden que crea que en el reino todo es fantástico y que simplemente les pintó sin ningún motivo causar una revuelta? Hmmm mirá con la cara que te mira Conan, me parece que ustedes los de la realeza son unos inútiles gobernando y una parte de su pueblo está descontenta por eso.
No me aburrió y por eso más que nada son las dos estrellas. Esta vez no tengo quejas contra los personajes (bueno sí: la madre de Emma me cae muy mal) o el romance porque simplemente no puedo soltar el hecho de que todo es tan poco original que duele.

I got the first book as a christmas present from my grandparents, and I must say it was amazing. Sorry, it wasn't amazing as 'thebestbookofmylifeamazing', but it's the perfect book, or perfect series to entertain yourself. I read all 3 books in 4 days. And that's something.
The characters are absolutely lovable, I loved Raína she was my absolute fav character.
The cover is OMG, love it, 5 stars.
