A 3.5 Really but since there were too many damn typos, I decided to rate it a 3 instead of rounding up to a 4.
This is a clean read but it was boring. The plot pretty much wasn't very engaging like book 1.
Ohmygod, this teen drama. Gah. 2 out of 5 stars because it was at some point entertaining enough to finish. I mean okay, it is YA, but it could have been better. These relationships were so – unreal to me? The characters felt more like 12 than anything else. The plot ses so shallow to me ans gawd – that thing at the end was so typical YA, it wasn't even sad. Last time I read of this book series.
It's a little cheesy at times and I absolutely don't like Emma's mom but I liked this book despite the fact that it has many flaws.
I thought this story was a great addition to the syrena trilogy. Galen continues to be the voice of reason, and he protects Emma with everything. I was bummed to read toward the end, but it didn't end at a cliffhanger. I loved it!
This book was a lot better than the first one. I enjoyed reading it, the characters started to get rounder and rounder and maybe I started to like Emma too. I hope that in the third book she will act like an adult and not like a 4 year old.
Other than the problem with Emma, the book is really different, it's not my favorite book but it is a breath of fresh air between two more consistent books. I will read the next one because the plot is very intriguing and I really hope it will be just as good, or maybe better than this book. :)
