Oh gosh, I didn't realize I hadn't marked this as read when the first and third were already marked. I swear I read them in order! :)
Wayyyyy......better than Of Poseidon. The tale to why Nalia escaped has finally come out into the light. Hooray....no more headaches for me.
I love how the story goes in this book except the part where Nalia said that her relationship with Emma's dad is more like business and there aren't any feelings. That sounds a bit cold and cruel. Well, put that aside, everything in this story is just perfect. The part where Gifts of Triton are revealed, is my favorite. I never thought that the Triton clan have Gifts of their own.
Now that there's Gifts for both clans and a happy ending to this book, I wonder what Of Neptune is all about. Hmm....another Syrena clan? If so...what is Neptune's gift? Hmm.......

This was a fun little pre-summer read. Nice bit of sea side fluff.
Emma got a bit more of a backbone and there was a twist I didn’t see coming, so it was alright.

This is one of those books that I am happy that I have read out!
I was hoping that this book wasn't going to let me down. Most sequels I read are very disappointing, and I was afraid that this book would be the same. Thank goodness I was wrong.
This book is interesting right from the get go. It has the same awesome characters that it does in the first one, and some new ones as well. Of Triton made me want to go to the ocean and look for the wonderful world that Galen lives in. I wish I could live in the water. My life would be complete.
Something I like about Of Triton is that it's more focused on the water kingdom and the struggle that the two kingdoms are going through to stay connected, whereas Of Poseidon was basically just a romance between Galen and Emma. I do, however, think that Of Poseidon is better than Of Triton.
It actually really surprised me when I saw how small Of Triton was. It was only 246 pages long, but each page was filled with amazingness. I felt like it was one of those books that you open up and start reading, and two seconds later you're done. When I finished it I was like, "Woah, I barely even remember reading this book. That was quick." But I always find it refreshing whenever you come across a book of that size, because you don't have to worry about being stuck on the same book for ages.
I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars. It had mermaids, fantasy, and romance *wink* *wink*. Needless to say, I cannot frikin' wait to read Of Neptune.
