“When I read a book it feels like real life and when I put the book down it's like I go back into the dream.”

I really love Lisa Jewell’s novels, she is always super consistent and creates really captivating stories.
I finished this book in a day because I can just consume fictional thrillers, I can never put them down. Although it was kind of predictable towards the end, I really enjoyed the value of family that was highlighted throughout the story.

Highly recommend.

This book is pretty sad, and as a mother it’s slightly triggering. I could not see where this book was going, and some of it seemed unnecessary and just to make you turn your head I was pretty surprised at the twist and though it doesn’t give you a warm and fuzzy feeling, i still liked the ending

After a while I finally finished this book. At first I found it confusing and very slow paced, but after a while I started to understand it and wow, it’s so sad and heartbreaking what Ellie went through and all she suffered. Ugh, Noelle, what a terrible lady and all her wrong choices. Overall, a great story!
