So @authorhollymonroe has my omegaverse loving heart in a chokehold!!! I didn’t think an omegaverse book could speak more to me than Knot all is Perfect but man was I wrong. The Alphas of Pack Stargazer are something else. Imagine loving someone so much you lie to them because you are afraid that she could get hurt if you find your scent match. Only to later find out she was right the whole time and she is your scent match. The groveling is real in this book!!!!! Icarus is an amazing alpha who protects his Omega Jordan at all cost! The connection, the love, the statement on personhood is still just as powerful as Nora’s story!

Really liked this one. The angst was compelling and felt grounded (the trauma and pain ran deep and felt legit). Was so glad it took its time rebuilding the pack and their relationships.

Icarus was a delight and Slime/Rafe’s relationship was so heartwarming to see come together.

Overall just really well done and intrigued for a Crystal book (and Athena, anyone?!)

This book is a jumble of angst, yearning, anger, shame, joy... it runs the gamut of emotions.  To be fair, most of them were felt by Jordan and Simon as we spent a lot of time with both of them feeling their feelings.  That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but because the two of them were so high string all the time, the others felt like they faded on comparison. There were a couple of times I just wanted to tell them to keep it together, which made me feel insensitive because Jordan relied so much on her therapist.  Shame is never really something I want to feel when reading a book.  I just think it was an odd pick to make the big tattooed and pierced biker rebel the one that was constantly crying in the book.  And tbh, the name Slime just did not work for me.  Not sure if I'm reading more in this series.

I enjoyed the premise but felt it dragged on a bit and it took forever of her going back and forth as to whether to forgive them

THIS is what I want in a second chance romance. THIS is the amount of groveling men need to do to earn back trust
