Wow. What a book!

I haven't read Knot All Is Perfect, but I am 1000% going to after reading this.

My first ever ARC read, and I am so grateful to be given this opportunity!

This book is my first toe dip into the omegaverse, and I am not disappointed. Holly knows exactly what we want from the omegaverse and a grovelling trope.

I haven't really been into this type of trope, I never rated it high, but I can say that it's now something that I will devour if written like this.

I actually laughed out loud to various parts of the book, especially when she first calls him Vick, and then his name in her phone as vickasaurus Rex, I died!

I loved Jordan as the FMC. Sure, she had her moments, but her battle with her mental health and her trauma was felt on a deeper level. Holly was extremely respectful in the way she wrote about the challenges Jordan had to go through, and i really felt connected to her through this approach. She is a strong FMC who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to tell you.

Now, her bestie, on the other hand, yeah. Nope. She isn't for me. I did not vibe with her in the slightest and in real life, would not be in my circle of trust.

Now let's talk MMC'S..... I adored simon. The sensitive, empathetic MMC who really felt all of the emotions. I loved the hints towards his inability to sit still and feel comfortable in odd positions. It was giving ADHD. I resonate deeply with that.

Rafe... what can I say about him? Did we get to know much about him? No, but I also fell for him. The way he remembers those small details, it made my heart sing.

Cyrus, mmmm. Now Cyrus, I was ready to claim him as mine from the start. Grumpy, a little mean and just an Alphahole, but for me. He had the biggest redemption arc, and I cried during his declaration.

Icarus. Vick. Icky. Vickasaurus Rex. Love the names. They are everything. Now he wasn't someone that I gelled with straight away, I don't think I'm 100% on board with him now. Another reread, and I just might, but unfortunately, not a fave.

The spicy scenes were spicing, and the kinks were kinking, I gave this a 🌶🌶🌶  rating. I'm absolutely getting into my smutty, spicy era, and I'm not mad about it.

I will absolutely be recommending this to anyone who will listen and can't wait to read Knot All Is Perfect!

**Thank you Holly Monroe for this ARC**

Jordan has always known she is an Omega.  Who knew at 32 that it would finally happen.  Her old pack that she knew were her match Pack Stargazer now have to make severe amends with her.

Her new Alpha isn't having it though and her old "pack" needs to make sever amends and impress him to show him that they are worthy.

This moved a little slower than I liked but it was still a good book.

Please make sure that you check the trigger warnings as they are a few and I want everyone to be safe.

Well I'm still loving the Lunarcrest City novels! Knot All is Perfect blew me away with how it handled politics and trauma. I wasn't expecting this to be the same - Holly Monroe has framed it as being a much lighter story - and while it is lighter, wow did it still pack an emotional punch. The world of Lunarcrest City still doesn't see omegas as fully capable people, and our late presenting FMC Jordan has a tough time throughout the story managing her and others' expectations of her designation and the reality of what it all means. Her mental health goes through the wringer, and her defensive behaviour towards the men in her life felt completely reasonable (even though I was desperate for her to work it out). So while this may not be as dark as Nora's story, it definitely still has dark elements, and politics and discrimination is still a big undercurrent.

I loved Icarus and Simon, two of the four MMCs, and while I was not that taken with Cyrus, I could understand the trajectory he was on. The only one I didn't feel like I got a solid understanding of was Rafe, and I didn't quite understand some of the relationship anxiety he was going through (trying hard not to spoiler things here). I liked how the four of them worked together as a pack of Alphas (urgh the heat scene towards the end). Jordan was a great FMC - a woman with skills, goals and a good life who has been treated abysmally. Watching her start her healing process with Icarus was a treat.

Now, there were a few things I didn't love about the story, but I don't want to suggest I didn't love this book overall, because I did. I wasn't that taken with how the book ended - I wish there had been a greater sense of consequences for
Lanie
, and that Icarus had gotten further ahead in his research. I also don't love the small every subunit getting a scene thing that's quite common in these books, although I get that that's maybe a me thing. I'd have rathered the story had just ended a bit sooner and saved those scenes as bonus material.

Am I excited for the next book? Yes, absolutely!!! That sneaky wee peak at the end already has me hooked and I'll be watching out closely for its release.

I read an advance copy of this book. My thoughts are very much my own.

This was an absolute perfect book for book #2 in the series. I absolutely adored Jordan and her pack of unique alphas. This story is filled with betrayal, medical mess ups, a distraught woman who knows she's an omega, gaslighting, angst, and the beautiful yet hard moments it takes to forgive those who hurt you. I feel each of her alphas were perfect for her in their own ways. The need to know more, angst, and plot made for an addicting read that I could not put down. I definitely recommend this series!

this is the first book i’ve read of the lovely Holly Monroe which is a shame honestly because i kinda feel in love with her writing style and this universe. i’ve had the first of this series on my TBR since i first heard about it a couple months ago and i feel a wee bit guilty not having read it yet.

i feel after reading this book, its a standalone in a shared universe but theres enough explaining going on that you understand whats gone on previously in a blanket statement kind of sense. obviously reading the first book and then the second helps.

now i really resonated with Jordan and her struggles. her anxiety and her knowledge of knowing she’s an Omega despite her body not getting with the program. her journey is such a dear one and it was — in my opinion— handled really well with the help of her alphas and therapy.

i loved the trope of scent matches but the way it’s done in this universe is just so fascinating. scent matches can only smell the complex scents of their match and its different for each person in the match.

the different levels of groveling was just yummy and there was some exciting spice as well. seeing how the Stargazer pack mesh as fully grown adults with Jordan and Icarus (eheh Icky) was such a fun thing to read.

the ending was done beautifully and makes me so happy how everything in the story came together in the end of it all.

Holly has hit another one out of the park. This was such a different scope and feel in relation to her first in this series, Knot All Is Perfect. While not as dark as Nora's story, Jordan's is no less impactful. Jordan endures so much in both understanding and coming to terms with herself. And, I feel that this story gained a greater complexity with her undergoing all this change in her 30s. So often Omegaverse stories are focused on the young ingénue and rarely has FMCs that have an established life/career and having to navigate a new normal with a pack.

It was such a pleasure watching Jordan's pack form and seeing each of her Alphas stepping up the plate to be what she needed. There is so much heartache at the root of their beginnings but the foundation became stronger as they shored up the cracks. This was a wonderful follow-up in the Lunarcrest City Omegaverse and I cannot implore you enough to check it out when it publishes on December 1st.

While this is not as heavy as her first, I urge you to check content warnings as some of the darker topics might be triggering.

Loved the pack dynamics and that the forgiveness wasn't rushed. The emotions felt real. I appreciated that the individual relationships within the pack were well developed. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was that it kinda felt like the relationship with Icarus was taking a backseat once pack Stargazer became more prominent in their lifes. Because of that, I would've loved to see Icarus and Jordan have a cute moment as a couple in the epilogue that didn't involve the entire pack. But other than that, I enjoyed this lovely read.

This was so beautifully done. Getting to know a new pack is always a great experience in an omegaverse novel, and this one was just so unique and heartfelt.

Jordan has known she's an Omega for most of her life. But she still hasn't presented as one. Going about her life as a Beta and making a name for herself, Jordan is still hoping that her body will figure itself out. When she ends up in the hospital and accidentally scent matches to her doctor, everything starts to change.

Dealing with the loss and distance between her and the Stargazer pack, the pack she grew up loving, Icarus has his work cut out for him as the sole Alpha to this Omega. With every new positive in Jordan's life, it seems like she's flooded with negatives. Finally being seen and accepted as what she's always known to be true, Jordan is finding that all good things aren't always good.

It was lovely to watch Icarus, Simon, Rafe, and Cyrus figure out how to take care of Jordan in the best way.
