I really enjoyed the book in the end. It started off pretty slow, but the second half of it is just great.

Second time reading through since I forgot I had read it. Overall, I'd it's just ok. I enjoyed reading it, but it's not a standout book that I'm going to tell my friends and family they should read. It was the perfect book for right before bed as I found it to be a relaxing read, but didn't pull me in so much that I'd want to stay up for hours reading. I enjoyed the continuation of the story of Akos and Cyra though!

Very complex. Many things happen. It’s like what you would imagine Aaryan’s brain plus his persona of FlarePhoenix plus English 104 in a blender. You can’t really separate the books from each other because the first book is incomplete without the second book. I don’t know how to talk about it without spoiling it, but it was very cool to see all the different pieces of the story come together. 4/5 for both books when put together.
