I have a fun time reading this book. loved the plot and events that happened, it was different then something I would usually read. loved the drama with MATCH and all the problems it created as well as seeing Ro deal with her home life.

It took a while to get into this but I enjoyed it. Ro's character development was very intriguing, you go on a real emotional ride.
The plot felt predictable at times and personally I would have made certain reveals earlier, so that the third act felt like it had more stakes to it. Great ideas though & I'm keen to read more of Ellen O'Clover's work.

This dealt with some surprisingly heavy themes, which I wasn’t expecting. MMC Miller, a Classics geek, was a gentleman and a romantic. I loved him a lot. The FMC Ro had a lot of growing up to do, but got there in the end. The friends to enemies to lovers trope worked very well, and the tech side of things was interesting. Ro’s mother was almost a caricature of evil at times, and all the different family dynamics beyond that were well fleshed out. The idea of found family was lovely.

I mainly picked this up because it reminded me of a middle grade book I read what feels like a lifetime ago, Clicked by Tamara Stone.

Although the book seemed to be advertised as a romance, it focused more on all relationships, and on family. I still enjoyed the book, but I do wish there was more coding aspect where we learn more about her actually coding and read about it.

My favorite part and character was any interaction with Felix, yet the book was extremely predictable for me. Sometimes the book would go on and on about a certain thing, and it'd semi-disconnect me.
