honestly so fun, I wasn't expecting this level of whimsy. I also appreciate all of the satirical elements in the novel, but I definitely missed quite a bit --- I think I'll do a deep dive and then reread sometime down the line 

2.5…. This was really fun and good and then it just got SO incredibly boring and repetitive. The sigh of relief I had when I finished this book….

Sure, it may have looked like a good thing to read 50 years ago.

Honestly really good! Poignant, and not in an obnoxious 18th century way

Boy Gulliver is one interesting man. This book really shows humanity and from a man’s perspective. I wonder if things would’ve been viewed differently if Gulliver was a woman traveling to these foreign places. Only because women are said to have less of an ego. Would Swift still be able to use his satire if genders were changed?

This was an enjoyable read- a good vacation classic.
