Well, this was definitely an emotional read and it had me in tears after binge reading the whole thing way too late, but I was also feeling frustrated at some of the decisions the characters made. I also was waiting for something to happen but the story just moved along without any big reveal or twist, which I was expecting. Maybe my expectations were too high. CoHo is definitely a good storyteller and I definitely was hooked, but the whole thing just fell a bit flat.

I truly don’t know how Colleen Hoover makes me feel all the emotions in every book of hers I read and Reminders of Him is no different. I devoured this and wanted more.

I didn't want to like it because, you know? Colleen Hoover. However, it wasn’t a bad book at all. Pretty neutral. Kenna was like a cat, misunderstood and occasionally fucks up like knocking glass over. She did have a hard life but she did have genuine love for her daughter and kept going off the strength of that. The pairing of her and Ledger is still hard to swallow but I don’t hate it. Glad she got a break.

4.5! not many books can make me cry, and this one definitely did. I liked the message and enjoyed the characters quite a bit.

IS THAT A FUCKING PIGEON?
