OMG super sexy alien erotica......do I really need to say more. This may be an acquired taste but I LOVED it and can't wait to dive into the rest of the series that I can get my hands on!

This specific video review will be included in the September 2018 wrap-up.

Sexy Alien erotica with spanking... Cool Cool.

4.5 enjoyed

It was a steamy love story, finding what she didn’t expect and always wanted. First time reading a Grace Goodwin book and very much enjoyed

I finished a new series by this author so I wanted to read her other well known series soon after. Assigned a Mate is an interesting concept, where criminals from earth are given a choice of prison or to start a new life off world as a bride to a man from another planet. The brides are chosen using a specialized program to find their perfect mate. This is an erotica novel, steamy, sexy and an extreme alpha male. The lead female is strong and has a secret on to why she became a bride. My only wish is that the author delved a little more into the planet life, see more of how it differs from earth, we get a glimpse but I was intrigued for more. Overall this was a great steamy romance and I love author who get really into creating alien worlds.

2018: WOO BOY

This book starts of with a literal bang. I was listening to in while I had a week of driving and to start off the way this one did was...surprising. With that said, it was also pretty well written scenes.

The main female character, Eva, is a bit of a caricature (as is the male protagonist) but it serves the author's purposes well. I wish the book would have been longer and told us more about the planet of Tryon, the Intersetallar Bride Program, and the trial, but alas, this is a romance novel to a T, so all of that simply distracts from the relationship that developed so quickly and powerfully between these two people chosen to be together.

Not my favorite, but I'll probably finish the series as the DC library gets the books in.

After witnessing a murder, Eva Daily finds herself seeking shelter from the mob/mafia through entering the Interstellar Bride Program. She is assigned a mate on the planet Tyrion, a planet where the men expect their mates to submit to them totally or to receive painful, embarrassing spankings. Despite this environment, will love blossom between Eva and Tark? Will she choose to stay on Trion or go home to the witness protection plan?

This erotic romance has many content warnings. Explicit sex. Elements of BDSM. Non consent. In other words, this book is not for the faint of heart.

The storyline is thin, but interesting. I would have liked to have seen a little more World building, but I can’t deny that I liked the book. Will so read another book in the series? Yes.

⭐️⭐️⭐️

Short erotic-sci-fi with some bondage and punishment. Good language but not much sci-fi in it.

The concept of the book seems to be interesting within paranormal novels. However, in this story there is an exaggeration of eroticism, poor character development, poor plot and no plot twists. This is mostly sex.
