This was reccomended to me by our GT resource teacher as an intriguing and informative read. Instead I found it slow and redundant. It may have been better to read rather than listen to.

I would love to read an updated version that discusses the use of smartphones in everyday design as many of the "what ifs" Norman proposes are now realities due to the widespread adoption of cell phones, Bluetooth, wifi, and computer innovations.

Great points to consider when working with a product any product. Technology changes greatly people change very little

A little dated, but extremely useful to understand principles of product design. A good reminder that there are no inept users, only bad design. Makes you examine everything in your everyday life from a design perspective. So the next time you open an app and wonder why you can't figure out what to do, remember it's not you, it's just bad design.

This book does a phenomenal job exploring the history and concept of design as it relates to the many products we use without thinking everyday. It very clearly and concisely defines the design process as well as the many different distinctions between what makes a design successful or a failure.

This book gave me a unique insight on design elements and a good idea of what design is, and it was very detailed and there were many examples. I enjoyed the content, but there was a little too much terminology for me.

This book made me think about the things in my life that were created by others and the process that the creation of those things entails. I found it to be fascinating and interesting, but it also made me not want to design things myself at least not in the near future, and not things available for mass consumers/things that are innovations in form rather than content.
