This has a perfectly reasonable ending if you're into horror, but it wasn't satisfying for me.

Otherwise, I appreciated the twists and turns throughout the rest of it.

I don't know how to feel. 😅 I have NEVER read a book like this one before. At first, I thought I wasn't going to like it.

the whole angel-sends-her-back-in-time thing? Come on.

But then it got REALLY good! I actually read the whole thing in one sitting. The story was building, I was completely enthralled, and then came the ending. WHAT WAS WITH THAT ENDING? 😅🥶

There were plot holes that were never filled... what happened with Alice's dad?

I left the book feeling so confused, which is incredibly disappointing. Still, it was entertaining and I'd be down for a sequel! 📚

If you like YA books and/or slasher films, this is for you. I gave it 4.5*. I'd never read anything by this author before, but I'll be looking up more of her work. It was very fast-paced and engrossing; procedural (for a slasher) without being too predictable and staying a little meta - think Scream movies, but updated.
