Reading about Zach in My Dark Romeo had me wanting to know more about his story.

Zach suffered a tragic car accident when he was younger, resulting in the loss of his father. Since then he hasn’t been able to accept/tolerate human touch of any kind.
His mother wants him to marry, and to have children of his own. He promised his dad that he would before he died and now he feels like he owes it to him to settle down.

Farrow lives with her step mother and sisters, they treat her very much like Cinderella, her father sadly died in a car accident. When she finds out that her step mother sold the pendant her father brought for Farrow, she wants it back, which means sneaking into Zach’s house and stealing it. What she doesn’t bank on is for him to catch her, and then make a deal with her to keep from pressing charges.

Farrow is very much an outgoing and fun person, whereas Zach is more reserved and clean cut. But they seem to do well to compliment each other.

I really liked this book to start with, the characters and the plot seemed fun, but about two thirds of the way in I got so bored I almost DNF’d it.

Thank you Greys Promo for the eARC!

I don't read a *ton* of dark romance or even a lot of "morally grey" romance, but this is a series I've eaten up ever since I randomly downloaded "My Dark Romeo" in the middle of a workday night last year!

The series follows three billionaire best friends who live on the same street, and are each—by their own admission—terrible human beings. But when they meet their matches, they begin to realize that they can care about something other than their business (or ruining other people's lives. Y'know.)

I love a good billionaire romance, and this one definitely hit the mark on every level. It was dark (casual stabbing? childhood trauma? murder plots?

This book was so much fun to read there werrr times when this book did kinda lag in some places but it was very fast paced read I love going into books of the unknown not having that social media platform having a big hype of the book which I do miss that about reading.
I cannot fathom how I devoured this book I don’t know why I put it off so long long maybe I enjoyed the first one so much I didn’t want to be disappointed by the second book.

Farrow: I felt really bad for farrow after suffering a terrible loss having that trauma what happened then moving to her step mothers.
She’s not the type of girl to leave things be she’s the one who gets what she wants that means getting Zach. She was so much sass in her she wasn’t a hard girl to say no too.

Zachary: my hot zach what can I say about this man Lord Jesus take the wheel 🫣🥵the way he was so cocky towards farrow just makes the anticipation of the romance succeeds more. I do feel so bad for zach aswell for also having a bad past he doesn’t show his emotions as it can bite him in the ass with his profession does have that emotional connection and it’s hard for him to come buy which makes me wanna give him a big hug 😭

I feel like once farrow comes into his life things do change for him he starts to feel protected of farrow even when he has these moody banters with her he wants to be with her 24/7 .

I feel like there’s so much going on for male POVs in these dark romances but you don’t see a lot of the females background which I get it but I do wish to see more of the females pov a lot more in dark romances

The romance was just top fucking notch the way I gasped in some scenes was like 🤯 how the hell we got from There to here.
I do feel like these two do have good connection with each other and it always builds on trust but neither of them wants to mess anything up

Be sure to look up the trigger warning before reading this book I can list some here for fair warning but please do look them up as it can be on heavy topic side

TW:
- abuse
- sexual abuse
- death
- ptsd
- racism
- murder

There’s so much more warnings also read the authors note before hand!
