This book was absolute perfection!!!! Not one thing is wrong with it. I’m in love with this book. I had so much fun. The texts between Zach friends were to die for. This men are crazy!
And Dallas as a fairy good mother? Loved it!
This two were like cat and mouse. And I love every single second of their relationship built up. I love the pendant’s fate story. The spice was good too.
Just go read this book.

Again, I somehow fell in love with this story. Some gruesome parts, but I loved it so much!

This story blends classic fairytale elements with a dark, contemporary twist. The story of a daring woman's mission to reclaim what's hers, only to be caught by the enigmatic Zachary Sun, hooked me from the start. Their tumultuous relationship, marked by a battle of wills and unexpected warmth, added depth to the storyline. The witty banter and dynamic interactions among the characters brought laughter and lightness, balancing the darker themes. The book's well-constructed subplots and engaging dialogue made it impossible to put down. I highly recommend diving into this story without spoilers to fully enjoy the delightful blend of humor, romance, and intrigue it offers.

I loved this book, Zach is my favourite! The book was so good, the story line was great and not lacking and overall, this book is one of my favourites! I just wish we got a bit more of the make up between Constance and Farrow, and find out if they had kids!

I called it right from the book cover . This served modern day Cinderella just that this Cinderella had a sharp mouth, backbone and tons of mummy issues. Forget playboy billionaires give me obsessed billionaire who would drop everything and go over all his rules for you cause that's what our no so sweet prince Charming did. He was whipped right from the start just blind to notice it. They both fell maybe not at the same time but there's a thin line between love and hate or more precisely hate lust cause the sexual tension was wonderful. I don't think I've laughed this much in a month that I have in 24hrs. This book deserves every single hype its gotten.

This may be a modern twist on a fairytale classic, but it was also incredibly unique.
It had it all - trauma, sass, grief, spice, and so much friendship.

I loved these two characters as individuals, as well as a couple. Their individual stories kept me gripped as they are both trying to deal with loss and helping each other through the trauma caused by this loss.

Zach is the brooding billionaire who has closed himself off so far from emotion, he feels nothing, not even cold, and he cannot bear to have physical contact with anyone.

Farrow is the hardworking, sassy maid who lost her father and is left living with her step-mom and step-sisters. These women try their best to make her life miserable and sell everything her dad owned, but she doesn't take any crap and plans to get back what he loved.

Zach helps Farrow fight against her step-mom, and Farrow helps Zach fight against his inability to touch or be touched.
Neither are perfect, but they are perfect for each other.

Although this book can be heavy at times, there is also a great amount of chemistry and banter between the main characters, as well as the side characters. For fans of My Dark Romeo, we still get plenty of Romeo, Dallas, and Oliver in this book, and I found myself laughing out loud at their banter and texts. That is a group chat I would love to be included in.

I will end by saying be careful when reading, I was so drawn into this book that I lost all track of time and was almost late for work.
