Juliette has finally found herself after years of isolation and thinking she’s a monster. I’m so happy for everyone! Thought the finale fell a little too rushed and flat and easy for our group.

This is a reread. Here’s my GR review (I gave it 5 stars):
I love this series so much! I just read this book in 24 hours.
I have been team Warner since book 1 when he was a “bad guy.” I knew either: A. He was actually a good guy. B. He would become a good guy. Or C. I wouldn’t even care if he was just a bad guy. 😂

I love Juliette and Kenji’s friendship. It was so sweet when Juliette called him her best friend.

Adam made my blood boil in this book. I could say so much more about this, but I don’t want to put any spoilers. Just know… 😤

Lastly, did anyone else really want to know what Anderson was screaming?! I’m worried maybe it was important.

Ending was good and wish it was longer, I was so invested. Very much character driven.

I’m in love Kenji Kishimoto, and I love Aaron and Juliette. I love both of their character character development and how Juliette and Kenji have become rlly good best friends. I’m loving watching Juliettes confidence grow and the writing of this book was amazing. Adam is an asshole. This is my fav of the series so far.

 “Ignite, my love. Ignite.”

With Omega Point destroyed, Juliette doesn’t know if the rebels, her friends, or even Adam are alive. But that won’t keep her from trying to take down The Reestablishment once and for all. Now she must rely on Warner, the handsome commander of Sector 45. The one person she never thought she could trust— the same person who saved her life.

I absolutely adore Tahereh Mafi's writing style, I think it's very immersive and engaging. Every chapter keeps me hooked on the story, leaving me unable to put the book down. I loved Juliette's character growth, seeing her accept herself and grow into the woman she wants to be was a liberating experience. She's such a strong character and I admire her ambition and courage. This book just proved how great Warner is and how incompatible she was with Adam. Adam wants a girl he's able to protect, someone to wholly rely on him. Meanwhile, Warner has done nothing but encourage and support Juliette in all her indevours. I can't wait to see what the two of them are going to do together next.
