This author floored me with this one! It felt like a real gritty story, grabs you from the beginning with its 'wrongness'... Dom is not your typical hero, by most standards he is 'not a good guy', he's the first to point that out. Allie is almost too good for him. Its almost too much of everything but they work hard and work it out brilliantly. They have some of the hottest sex I've ever read (Dom's quite the dirty talker, what a mouth on him!) and they practically burn right off the page so have a fan handy lol. I just liked everything about it, perfect little weekend read!
So in this book we get to see Dom and Allie's story and wow there is some hot chemistry with them. Really loved this story and have really loved this series.

I always enjoy stories written by Lauren. The journey of the friendship between Ally and Dominik was special. Looking forward to reading more of this series.

Honestly, this series was a rollercoaster of crazy. I wish it had continued in the spirit of the first two instead of going off on this wild spin of crazy in the second two. I have whiplash.

This book has me staying up half the night just to finish it! The not so average way Dom showed his love for Allie has me at every page and I couldn't put the book down. It still amazes me how this series went from a radio dj to THE MOB BOSS. Great read you won't be disappointed

The story is a bit cliche, mob boss and all but the plot was sweet and even quirky too... the banter is very well written!

This is one of the most edgy stories I’ve read in quite a while. Dominick and Allie’s personalities both seem to be high strung. They also appear to be complete opposites. Yet there is an attraction that keeps pulling them together. I feel the author did a great job of developing the characters. My heart ached for Dom. I felt he sees himself so differently than some others see him. Allie never describes Dom as a monster. And the sex was intense. I also got the feeling Logan really understood him.
TJ is another character who makes you feel the strong family connection he and Allie have. And I felt Zallow was a character who might end up with a story of his own to tell.
I feel the story flow was good. There was not a point I felt I could easily put it aside. I am happy with the way the story ended. I do feel there are secondary characters who were so interesting that I’d enjoy reading about them too.

This book explores the romance between Dom and Allie and although I liked them together there were times that I was torn on if she should stay with him or not. Dom was obsessed with Allie and it did work out in the end with Allie learning and accepting Dom's secrets.
Ummmmm....it was okay. I thought with the high reviews I was going to like it more, but I just really wanted it to be over. It was pretty predictable...so my whole review just erased... the story was straight, not the best 3.5 Stars.
