Theres a lot in here…a LOT. Kind of hard to describe the plot but it’s a 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 with some fantastical twists that come out of nowhere.
The characters are absolute perfection. Kingfisher is commanding and dangerously magnetic, while Saeris is enigmatic and unpredictable in the best way. Their dynamic is fire—intense, complex, and laced with enough tension to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Hart’s world-building is stunning, blending haunting beauty with raw grit. The Oshellith butterflies, with their tragic symbolism, are a perfect example of the way she crafts meaning into every detail. The writing is lyrical and sharp, hitting all the emotional beats while pulling you deeper into the story.
