Loved it almost as much as the first part!

There are some shocking moments and some plot-twists that I enjoyed and I'm still utterly in love with Tharon and Roswynd. Their banter is much more lighthearted than in the first book (understandably) but still playing off their shared youth. Rediscovering their past through their conversations was really nice, despite some hard memories. There is a little bit too much sex for me towards the end (because I much more enjoy the tension before), but I'm very invested in the murder mystery in the heart of this book trilogy and curious to see it's all going to conclude in the final book. Can't wait!
