What started out as an experiment quickly leads to something more....

Olivia has been interested in her best friend Trey for years. They finally decide to take their friendship to the next level and find there is no spark. Worried that she's lost her appeal, Olivia asks the tattooed stranger at the bar to kiss her. Ledger is amused by her request and accepts. However, they are both surprised at the heat.

Olivia goes in search of her mystery kisser and they begin dating. On paper, they shouldn't be together. She is the good girl daughter of a senator and Ledger is a bad boy mechanic.

I enjoyed watching the relationship grow and be challenged by their differences. Such a great story!

DNF - the writing wasn't doing it for me, nor the instalust. The kicker was the FMC's "best friend" treating her (and his step brother, the MMC) terribly, her forgiving him instantly, and then taking him to the banquet thingy instead of just talking to her boytoy

First thought: This is the perfect summer read it has a little bit of everything sweet, sexy, spicy, drama and just a great story.

Olivia comes from money. Her dad is a senator and she lives the perfect life the way her parents want her live. The only problem is her perfect guy on paper also know as he BFF Trey and her have zero chemistry. She finds herself not fitting into the perfect mold her family expects. So after kissing Trey she is frustrated and thinking she has just lost her spark. Her solution is to ask a random stranger at a bar, who happens to be a bike riding bad boy to kiss her. And oh man she quickly realizes sparks do exists and they fly!

Ledger has a dark past and he’s worked hard to build his new life as an owner of the local garage. He owes everything to his mentor that took him in, taught him the trade and then helped him start his business. He has a complicated relationship with his family, especially his step brother Trey. He decided to lock away his heart along time ago and is fine embracing being the outcast bad boy of the family. But then a random girl in a bar decides to sit next to him and won’t stop talking. She asks for a kiss and to shut her up he gives her one. Little does he know that this girl will change everything.

This is an opposites attract, grumpy vs sunshine, spicy romance that should be added to your TBR! It is told in dual perspective so you get to know both Olivia and Ledger and you follow them as they learn to navigate the collision of their two different worlds.

Book launches on July 17th 3023 but you can pre-order now! Go grab it friends.

This is a fun, spicy, entertaining read. Ledger and Olivia are interesting, relatable, complex, complicated, strong, intriguing, entertaining characters. I enjoyed their romance and the path it took to get to their HEA. I loved the tattoo and its symbolism – our bad boy has a tender heart. The secondary characters added to the fabric of the story and my enjoyment. As I read the previous books in the series I was expecting Olivia and Trey to end up together – I am not disappointed that it wasn’t Trey, Ledger is a better hero for Olivia. The story is easy to read and get into.
