I think this is a really fun beach read with dynamic characters, strong writing/voice and an interesting storyline with the hotel as a backdrop. She’s good at making Nantucket feel so real to the reader.

Overall I enjoyed the book, but it isn’t my favorite. I enjoyed the story and the characters. It was very sweet and had me wanting to go to Nantucket. However, I felt some parts seemed a tad forced or under developed. I liked having narration from many different characters, but sometimes a new narrator would be used randomly and it was confusing. I also don’t love when there’s super natural aspects to books, but I do think it was done pretty well in this book.
