CHRIST. That took forever and frankly I'm ashamed; I've finished books four times as big in 1/2 the time it took me to finish this.
I think part of the issue I had reading this was that I didn't feel especially connected to these characters. No real reason, it just wasn't there for me. Sometimes I get to the end of a perfectly good book and cannot figure out why I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
3/5 stars.
