DNF. You know cis gay men who think they can say the shittiest misogynistic stuff about women but it’s cool because

This was cringey and unnecessarily crass?????

I cringed at the misogynistic, self-righteous attitude of Beckett, who probably thought he has so much sass that his willful ignorance is forgivable.

How can one expect others not to judge you when you are guilty of the same offense?

If you love Simon and Bram, you will love Beck and Jax!

This book was hilarious. The characters definitely had a similar sense of humor to me and I adore Beck with every fiber of my being. I also LOVED that sweet tea was in this because it's not something I see a lot in books and it's literally the main thing I drink so it's so nice to see some else who actually knows about and drinks it too. I know really weird and random thing to like but still. I also really enjoyed Jax's POV and how we slowly learn about his childhood. I really did not like Tracee one bit she was on my nerves the entire book and made me want to bang my head against the wall. JoJo on the other hand was a delightful character. I really feel like I need to watch Golden Girls now because I think it will add another layer to my enjoyment since it's such a big thing for Beck and his dad. On the whole I really liked this book and am interested to see future works from this author.

Loved it, funny and real at the same time. Decided to get it because it was compared to Simon but it definitely holds its own and more. Beckett and Jax are both awesome, lovable and relatable, would love to see if he made into a movie as well.

There's some heavy stuff here but overall it's a relatively nice story.

I'm not an American and I don't know anything about American Football, and I've heard it in many places that it's always the Quarterback.
Someone please tell me how true that is.

Need an -ism? This book's got it!

It really tries to sell you on the whole "teens will be teens!" idea, but we all realized that this is messed up right?
